Chris is a Pacific Northwest native, born and raised in Lacey, Washington. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Recreation from Western Washington University, he spent five years in Oahu, Hawaii, working at Ko Olina Golf Club. There, he completed the PGA Professional Golf Management program, earned Class A membership with the PGA of America, and built his foundation as a coach through lessons and junior golf programs serving underprivileged youth.

In 2011, Chris returned to the South Sound to help open Salish Cliffs Golf Club in Shelton, WA. Over the next 10 years, the course earned Top 100 Public Course recognition, and Chris served as Head Golf Professional for the final three years.

In the fall of 2021, Chris opened The Golf Loft, an indoor golf studio built around coaching, development, and community.
